The ceremony, held in the heart of the UAE, saw the presence of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Mohsin Naqvi, who greeted and shook hands with captains of all participating nations.
The captains of Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Hong Kong, and Oman posed for photographs with the trophy, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling T20I tournament. Tournament Format & Groups
The 15th edition of the men’s Asia Cup will feature eight teams divided into two groups, with the top two from each progressing to the Super Four stage.
- Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE (hosts), Oman
- Group B: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong
India will open their campaign against the UAE on September 10 in Dubai, face arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14, and conclude the group stage against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
