Pakistan to Hold Training Camp in Dubai

The Pakistan cricket team will arrive in Dubai today to begin a crucial training camp ahead of the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the Asia Cup 2025. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the camp will run from August 21 to August 27 at the ICC Academy.

The squad will assemble in four groups and hit the nets from Wednesday evening. The camp will feature a mix of training sessions and practice matches designed to fine-tune preparations before tournament action begins.

  • 21 August: Training at ICC Academy, 19:30–22:30 (vision-only opportunity)
  • 22 August: T20 practice match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, 19:00. Media interaction available pre-match.
  • 23 August: Training at ICC Academy, 19:30–22:30 (vision-only opportunity)
  • 24 August: Training at ICC Academy, 18:00–21:00. Media interaction available before training.
  • 25 August: T20 practice match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, 19:00. Media interaction available before the match.
  • 26 August: Training at ICC Academy, 20:00–23:00 (vision-only opportunity)

Following the camp, Pakistan will travel to Sharjah for the Tri-Nation Series (Aug 29 – Sep 7) against Afghanistan and UAE. Pakistan will open their campaign against Afghanistan on August 29 at 7:00 PM. The top two teams after the league stage will meet in the final on September 7.

The focus will then shift to the Asia Cup 2025, beginning September 9. Pakistan are drawn in Group A alongside India, Oman, and hosts UAE. Their fixtures include:

  • Sep 12 vs Oman
  • Sep 14 vs India
  • Sep 17 vs UAE
