The Asia Cup 2025 Points Table will follow the standard ICC T20 points system. Each team will earn 2 points for a win during the group stage. In case of a tie or no result, both teams will receive 1 point. The table will show each team’s Matches Played (M), Wins (W), Losses (L), Ties (T), No Results (NR), Points (P), and Net Run Rate (NRR), updated after every match.
Points System
- Win: 2 points
- Tie/No Result: 1 point
- Loss: 0 points
If two or more teams are tied on points, Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used as the tie-breaker.
Tournament Format
- The Group Stage will include 12 matches, with each team playing the others in their group once.
- The Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four stage.
- In the Super Four, teams will face off in another round-robin format.
- The Top 2 teams from the Super Four will meet in the Final on September 28, 2025.
Key Table Terms
- M (Matches Played): Total games played by the team
- W (Wins): Total matches won
- L (Losses): Total matches lost
- T (Ties): Matches tied (without a Super Over result)
- NR (No Result): Matches abandoned or with no result
- P (Points): Total points earned
- NRR (Net Run Rate): Tie-breaker metric used when teams have equal points
